Sophomore Ava Fendel scored a 9.375 to take home 1st-place on Vault, where she was backed by teammates Alyssah Arends (3rd, 9.075) and Julia Bukowski (T-5, 8.750). Arends would take 2nd on the Uneven Bars with a 9.175, and would later claim 1st-place on the Balance Beam, notching a score of 9.075 before earning a tie for third on the floor with a score of 9.225. Joining Arends in the top-six on floor was Ava Fendel (1st, 9.450), Julia Bukowski (2nd, 9.330), and Hollyn Krogman (T-6, 8.875). Arend's evening was good enough to finish 1st in the All-Around competition with a total of 36.550—just 1.925 points ahead of senior Julia Bukowski, who finished 5th with a total of 34.625.

Next Tuesday, the Carmel Catholic Gymnastics Team travels to Glenbrook South High School, where the Corsairs will seek a team-trip to the IHSA State Finals. Tickets for the second-round of post-season competition will go on sale this week, and we look forward to seeing members of the Carmel community in Glenview to support Coach Sarah Doyle and her 2024 IHSA Regional Champions.
